Singing Cubs
Jaws
(Tune: "Do Re Mi")

JAWS A mouth, a great big mouth
TEETH The things that kinda crunch
BITE The friendly sharks "hello"
US His favorite juicy lunch
BLOOD That turns the ocean red
CHOMP That means the sharks been fed
GULP His tummy's nice and full
That will bring us back to
JAWS! JAWS! JAWS! JAWS!
Edelweiss Grace
(Tune: "Edelweiss")

Bless our friends, bless our food,
Come, oh, Lord and be with us.
May our words glow with peace,
May your love surround us.
Friendship and love, may they bloom and grow,
Bloom and grow, forever.
Bless our friends, bless our food,
Come, oh, Lord and be with us.
Commercial Mixup
(Tune: "Farmer in the Dell")

Last night I watched TV.
I saw my favorite show
I heard this strange commercial
I can't believe it's so.

Feed your dog Chiffon,
Comet cures a cold
Use SOS pads on your face
To keep from looking old.

Mop your floor with Crest.
Use Crisco on your tile.
Clean your teeth with Borateem,
It leaves a shining smile.

For headaches take some Certs,
Use Tide to clean your face.
And do shampoo with Elmer's Glue
It holds your hair in place.

Perhaps I am confused.
I might not have it right.
But one things that I'm certain of. . .
I'll watch TV tonight!
Bug Juice
(Tune: "On Top of Old Smokey")

At camp with the Girl Scouts,
They gave us a drink.
We thought it was kool-aid
Because it was pink.

But the drink that they gave us
Would have grossed out a moose.
For the good tasting pink drink,
Was really bug juice.

It looked fresh and fruity,
Like tasty kool-aid.
But the bugs that were in it,
Were murdered with Raid.

We drank by the gallons
We drank by the tons.
But then the next morning,
We all had the runs.

Next time you drink bug juice
And a fly drives you mad.
He's just getting even
'Cause you swallowed his dad.
God Bless America

God bless America, Land that I love.
Stand beside her, and guide her,
Through the night with a light from above.
From the mountains, to the prairies,
To the oceans white with foam.
God bless America, my home, sweet, home,
God bless America, my home, sweet, home.
Mom Wash My Underwear
(Tune: "God Bless America")

Mom, wash my underwear, my only pair.
We can find them and move them,
From the heap by the side of the chair.
To the washer, to the clothesline,
To my backpack, to my rear.
Mom, wash my underwear, my only pair.
Mom, wash my underwear, or I'll be bare.
Itsy Bitsy Spider

The itsy bitsy spider
Crawled up the birthday cake.
The itsy bitsy spider
He made a big mistake!
He climbed up on the cake
Before the cake was cut
And the itsy bitsy spider,
Burned his YOU KNOW WHAT!
Akela's Pack
(Tune: "The Eyes of Texas")

We're a Pack of happy Cub Scouts
Wolf, Bear, and Webelos.
We'll eventually be Boy Scouts,
As everybody knows.
Don't you want to come and join us?
Be with all the rest?
Don't you want to be a Cub Scout?
Come and Do Your Best!
Tom the Toad
(Tune: "Oh, Tannenbaum")

Oh Tom the Toad, Oh Tom the Toad
Why did you jump into the road?
Oh Tom the Toad, Oh Tom the Toad
Why did you jump into the road?

You were so big and green and fat
But now you're small and red and flat.
Oh Tom the Toad, Oh Tom the Toad
Why did you jump into the road?
Road Kill Stew
(Tune: "Three Blind Mice")

Road Kill stew,
Road Kill stew,
Tastes so good,
Just like it should.

First you go down to the Interstate
You wait for the critter to meet it's fate.
You take it home and you make it great!
Road Kill stew,
Road Kill stew.
Grand Old Duke Of York
(Tune: "A Hunting We Will Go")

Note: First time through, just sing
the song, to be sure all know it. Then
when the word "up" is sung, everyone
stands up, and when the word "down" is
sung, everyone sits down. Go through the
song several times, getting faster each time.

The Grand Old Duke of York,
He had ten thousand men.
He marched them up the hill, and
then he marched them down again.
And when they're up they're up.
And when they're down they're down,
But when they're only halfway up,
They're neither up nor down.
Oh I Wish I Were
(Tune: "If You're Happy and You Know It")

Oh, I wish I were a little bar of soap.
Oh, I wish I were a little bar of soap.
I would slippy and I'd slidey,
Over everybody's hidey.
Oh, I wish I were a little bar of soap.

Oh, I wish I were a little hunk of mud.
Oh, I wish I were a little hunk of mud.
I would ooey and I'd gooey,
Under everybody's shoey.
Oh, I wish I were a little hunk of mud.

Oh, I wish I were a little can of pop.
Oh, I wish I were a little can of pop.
I'd go down with a slurp,
and come up with a burp.
Oh, I wish I were a little can of pop.

Oh, I wish I were a little slippery root.
Oh, I wish I were a little slippery root.
I would sit upon the trail,
And knock everyone on his tail.
Oh, I wish I were a little slippery root.

Oh, I wish I were a little mosquito.
Oh, I wish I were a little mosquito.
I'd buzzy and I'd bitey,
Under everybody's nighty.
Oh, I wish I were a little mosquito.

Oh, I wish I were a little bitty orange.
Oh, I wish I were a little bitty orange.
I'd go squirty, squirty, squirty,
Over everybody's shirty.
Oh, I wish I were a little bitty orange.
